On the afternoon of October 11, 2024, at the People's Committee of Tay Ho District, GENTIS had the honor of participating in the conference "Dialogue, Meeting, and Honoring Outstanding Entrepreneurs and Enterprises on the 70th Anniversary of the Capital Liberation and the 20th Anniversary of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day." This conference was a gathering to recognize the contributions of businesses and production facilities in the district in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day (October 13). During the conference, leaders of various departments under Tay Ho District engaged in open discussions with representatives of businesses on economic, cultural, and social issues, aiming to promote the overall development of Tay Ho District specifically and Hanoi City in general.

Businesses crucially contribute on the district’s development

At the opening of the event, the leaders and officials of the People’s Committee of Tay Ho District along with businesses reflected on the 29-year journey of development, making the district become one of Hanoi's centers of culture and tourism. These strides can be attributed to the significant contributions of the businesses and production establishments in the area. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tinh - Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Tay Ho District stated at the event “The achievements of the district have been made possible by the ongoing support of businesses that have trusted us and actively participated in investment and business operations here. Hence, contributing to job creation, increased income, and improved living standards for residents, as well as making important contributions to the district’s budget and the socio-economic development of Tay Ho. The district cordially appreciates and acknowledges the contributions of businesses, which also affirm Tay Ho’s commitment to creating a favorable investment and business environment to help companies operate stably and attract investment.

During the event, the delegates listened to responsible opinions regarding solutions to help the district committee and business develop sustainable economics from business owners. Representatives from various departments provided detailed and focused responses to the businesses’ inquiries, aiming to enhance overall development.

Positive Contributions of GENTIS in Tay Ho District

At the conference, Mr. Do Manh Ha (CEO of GENTIS) shared the company's activities and positive contributions to Tay Ho District, particularly in health, community services, and taxation in recent years.

Regarding health and community services, with the support and guidance from the Tay Ho District People's Committee, GENTIS actively participated in community health testing during the COVID-19 pandemic, contributing to the fight against this dangerous disease.

On the taxation matters, the changes in electronic tax systems have greatly streamlined processes and saved time for GENTIS specifically and businesses in general. Additionally, the Tay Ho District People's Committee has created a favorable business environment that has helped GENTIS operate stably and grow. "These supports have enabled GENTIS to achieve significant growth, contributing 14 billion VND to the district's budget in 2023, nearly nine times the amount from 2019," Mr. Ha stated. In conclusion, he expressed gratitude on behalf of GENTIS's staff for the assistance and close guidance from Tay Ho District.

Honored to receive the commendation for being an outstanding enterprise in Tay Ho District, GENTIS will continue to strive for further professional and operational development, contributing positively to Tay Ho District specifically and the country as a whole.
