Collaborating on the Implementation of Genetic Testing Services
Under the cooperation agreement, Eurofins GENTIS and Thien Hanh General Hospital will collaborate on implementing genetic testing services for assisted reproduction, prenatal screening, and newborn screening.
In assisted reproduction, Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT) has been identified as one of the key service areas. The application of PGT can provide additional information about the genetic characteristics of embryos, supporting physicians and couples during counseling and the selection of appropriate embryos in IVF treatment.
For prenatal screening, the two organizations will collaborate on implementing Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing (NIPT) and related genetic testing programs, contributing additional information on the risk of certain genetic abnormalities in the fetus.
In addition, the collaboration aims to expand newborn screening for certain congenital metabolic and endocrine disorders. Early detection may facilitate appropriate monitoring, assessment, and intervention for infants in accordance with professional guidelines.
Expanding Training Activities and Community Healthcare Initiatives
In addition to implementing genetic testing services, Eurofins GENTIS and Thien Hanh General Hospital have agreed to collaborate on organizing specialized seminars, antenatal classes, and health education and communication activities in the future. These programs aim to update professional knowledge while raising public awareness of the role of genetic testing in healthcare.

Eurofins GENTIS will also collaborate in developing support policies for customers at Thien Hanh General Hospital, helping facilitate access to specialized genetic testing for people in Dak Lak and Tay Nguyen locally.
The collaboration between Eurofins GENTIS and Thien Hanh General Hospital marks a step toward strengthening professional connections and expanding access to medical genetics solutions.
