The Congress program was organized into two main working sessions.
In the first session, delegates held the founding congress of the Association with many important contents such as approving the operating regulations, reporting on the development direction in the first term, discussing strategic goals and operational orientations of the Association in the period 2026 - 2031.
The Congress also elected the first Executive Committee in accordance with regulations. The election results selected individuals with high professional competence and rich experience in the fields of genetics, biotechnology, precision medicine and healthcare management to participate in leading the Association in the new term.
The inauguration ceremony of the Executive Board for the 2026-2031 term took place in a solemn atmosphere, marking the beginning of the journey to build and develop the Ho Chi Minh City Genomics Medical Association into a reputable professional organization that makes practical contributions to the development of the healthcare sector.
The second session of the program was a series of scientific reports with many in-depth topics on the current status, potential, and development direction of genomics medicine in Ho Chi Minh City. The reports provided a comprehensive view of outstanding achievements, current challenges, and opportunities for applying genetic technologies in disease diagnosis and treatment.
Through the discussion sessions, many valuable professional opinions were shared, contributing to a clearer understanding of the role of genomics medicine in the modern healthcare system.
