Workshop to update services of prenatal screening and cervical cancer testing at Hanoi - Bac Giang International General Hospital

The seminar to update information on testing services is a regular activity that GENTIS is implementing with partners and customers. Following this series of activities, GENTIS collaborated with Hanoi - Bac Giang International General Hospital to organize a workshop to update the NIPT GenEva prenatal screening service and cervical cancer testing on the afternoon of the same day. At the seminar, reporter Nhung directly shared the latest information about the NIPT GenEva test at GENTIS. GenEva non-invasive prenatal screening by extraction of fetal cfDNA in maternal blood is a technology trend that is absolutely safe for mother and fetus.
GenEva test helps to detect early syndromes related to abnormal number of chromosomes in fetus with high accuracy (more than 99%), thereby minimizing unnecessary amniocentesis. The GenEva test is performed from the 10th week of pregnancy and is recommended for all high-risk pregnant women.

GENTIS is the first DNA laboratory in Vietnam to be certified with ISO 9001:2015. GENTIS is also the first unit in Vietnam to obtain ISO 15189:2012 certificate of laboratory quality management for non-invasive screening (NIPT). This is a standard that specifies competence and quality requirements for medical laboratories.
