Wanting to confirm their relationship, the family requested DNA testing to clarify their biological connection. With support and coordination from Dân trí, GENTIS sponsored and covered all costs for the voluntary DNA testing for the family.

In May 2025, Arthur’s hair and nail samples were sent from France, and Mrs. Hợi’s blood sample was collected and analyzed at GENTIS. After a rigorous examination process, the test results accurately confirmed the mother-child biological relationship between the two.
This result was not just a scientific conclusion but also the key that opened the door to reunion after 31 years of separation. It was a moment full of emotion for everyone—from the family, the GENTIS team, to the Dân trí journalists.

After receiving the voluntary DNA test results, Arthur prepared all necessary procedures to return to Vietnam. On September 19, he arrived at the GENTIS center with his mother to conduct official administrative DNA testing, the final step to complete his citizenship paperwork in Vietnam.
Throughout this process, Arthur’s family received support not only from GENTIS but also from Colonel Hà Quốc Khanh, who accompanied, assisted, and helped diligently and effectively.
